TVREV Co-Founder and Lead Analyst Alan Wolk was on [Cheddar TV ](https://cheddar.com/media/movie-theaters-hope-to-capitalize-on-netflix-subscriber-loss?ref=tvrev2beta2.ghost.io)Friday, debunking yet again the myth that Netflix had suffered “massive” subscriber losses and talking about how movie theater chains need to reclaim their role as a destination and gathering place by improving their product. 

Wolk also predicted that movie consumption would likely be hybrid, split between theaters and streaming and that one key advantage of a streaming movie was its length, or lack thereof: people are more likely to invest in a two or three hour movie than a 12 hour series.
