“The difference between a hero and a coward is one step sideways.” ― *Gene Hackman*

The last week will go down in history as “great television” not because of the Oscars— but because this week, an actor turned war time president and a reality star turned POTUS brought some real life drama to the world stage.

And this made for TV moment did what all the best TV does; go straight to social video to be mashed and “memed” and viewed at a scale and in ways TV can never deliver.

For those of you that prefer more than a soundbite or consuming this as an AI-first fight version, [ C-SPAN has the whole hour](https://www.c-span.org/program/white-house-event/president-trump-meets-with-ukrainian-president-zelensky/656418?ref=tvrev2beta2.ghost.io). In a short form world, the full length version often tells a bigger picture story.

Speaking of the bigger picture….TVREV and [MX8 Labs](http://mx8labs.com/?ref=tvrev2beta2.ghost.io) partnered to survey U.S. viewers about their movie watching habits, and found that **46% prefer to stream flicks at home, while only 15% favor theaters**.

**Convenience** was the top factor for streaming at home, cited by 78% of surveyed viewers. That share was even higher for several specific demographics: People with a Bachelor's degree (85%), those who live in the Midwestern U.S. (86%) and viewers aged 55-64 (90%).

The **lack of crowds and/or noisy people** was another key factor, cited by 70% of total surveyed viewers. That rises to 81% of people over 65, and a whopping 87% for those living in the Western U.S. **Cost savings** ranked third, noted by 62% of all respondents.
