More soup for you!

Jerry Seinfeld hinted last weekend that the eponymous hit series *Seinfeld* will return.

“Something is going to happen that has to do with that ending. It hasn’t happened yet,” Seinfeld said during a stand up set in Boston Saturday [according to Variety](https://variety.com/2023/tv/news/seinfeld-reunion-jerry-seinfeld-teases-finale-revival-project-1235750552/?ref=tvrev2beta2.ghost.io). “Just what you are thinking about, Larry \[David\] and I have also been thinking about. So, you’ll see.”

The series finale, which aired on NBC May 14, 1998, left many of its 76 million viewers disappointed. But 25-plus years later, do fans still watch?

We took a look at data from Inscape and iSpot to see how the series has performed over the last 30 days in syndication.

According to [Inscape](https://www.inscape.tv/?ref=tvrev2beta2.ghost.io), *Seinfeld* ranks No. 51 across all programs on live, linear TV with a viewership share of 0.25%. When looking at specific networks, however, *Seinfeld* fared well.

The series comprised nearly a quarter (23.42%) of all minutes watched on Comedy Central, ranking No. 3 behind *The Office* and *South Park*. On TV Land, *Seinfeld* accounted for 8.61% of minutes (No. 6 on that network).

On the advertising side of things, according to [iSpot.tv](https://www.ispot.tv/?ref=tvrev2beta2.ghost.io), *Seinfeld* is also a particular juggernaut for Comedy Central. The program has a 22.00% TV ad impressions SOV on the network over the last 30 days, just behind *South Park* (26.02% impressions SOV) and *The Office* (26.78%).

Top advertisers during recent *Seinfeld* episodes on Comedy Central include Burger King (3.80% impressions SOV), Wendy’s (2.60%) and Bob Evans Grocery (2.35%).

*Seinfeld* isn’t as big of player on TV Land, notching an iSpot impressions SOV of 7.63% over the last 30 days, behind other classics including *Everybody Loves Raymond*, *The King of Queens*, *Mike & Molly* and *The Andy Griffith Show*.

Top brands by impressions SOV for *Seinfeld* on TV Land are quite different from that of Comedy Central: All Laundry Detergent (2.67% impressions SOV), No7 Laboratories (2.56%) and Mucinex (2.45%) lead the pack.

During his set, Seinfeld did not reveal any details as to what that reunion will look like. Main cast members did appear together in an episode of *Seinfeld* co-creator Larry David’s show *Curb Your Enthusiasm* back in 2009\. But based on the internet chatter and the Inscape and iSpot data, fans still seem to want more.
