*Welcome to our weekly snapshot of TV by the numbers, highlighting the most-watched shows and networks for July 8-14, featuring insights from* [*Inscape*](http://inscape.tv/?ref=tvrev2beta2.ghost.io)*, the currency-grade smart TV ACR data provider and data technology division of Vizio. Data is linear, live TV only and includes all episode types (new and reruns). Rankings are by percent share duration (i.e., time spent watching).*

While sports programming like Major League Baseball (1.62% of minutes watched) and Wimbledon (1.38%) occupied the top two spots in our ranking, the bigger moves came from news-related programs — particularly on Fox News.

Shows on Fox News like *America’s Newsroom*, *America Reports*, *Jesse Waters Primetime* and *The Ingraham Angle* all jumped week-over-week in the watch-time ranking, partly in reaction to news of the weekend assassination attempt of President Trump, as well as content in the lead-up to the Republican National Convention. Since several of these Fox News programs are typically weekday-only, weekend editions meant extra time on air vs. a typical week.

A few more insights around the week’s most-watched programming…

- As the tournaments wrapped up, watch-time for both the 2024 European Championships (from No. 3 to No. 18) and Copa America (from No. 4 to No. 6) events declined week-over-week.
- Three different shows appeared among the top 25 by minutes watched in our ranking after not appearing among the top 50 the previous week: *NCIS* (No. 16), *Fox & Friends Weekend* (No. 19) and NBA Summer League (No. 25).
- Golf remained popular on the week as well, as Scottish Open action drove the PGA Tour from No. 21 to No. 8 by share of watch-time week-over-week.
